The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a fresh registration exercise for the 2025/2026 National Service year, which opens on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and closes on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
This follows the cancellation of all previous registrations made in June 2025, after an internal review and technical and forensic audit of the Central Service Management Platform (CSMP).
In a statement issued on October 7, 2025, the NSA explained that the audit—commissioned under a directive from the President—found the old system unsatisfactory. Consequently, the Authority was tasked to design and deploy a more secure and transparent digital registration platform to ensure data integrity, real-time verification, and improved user experience.
“All previous registrations from June 2025 have been declared null and void. Every prospective service personnel must re-register on the new platform,” the statement read.
The Authority has assured all applicants that payments made during the June 2025 registration period will be refunded. Step-by-step registration guidelines will be published on the NSA’s new official website, www.gnsa.gov.gh, starting Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
The NSA also announced new IT reforms and internal control measures to combat payroll fraud, enhance financial oversight, and ensure the timely payment of allowances. The Authority revealed it is working closely with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) to strengthen accountability and implement periodic efficiency checks.
According to the NSA, all national service personnel are expected to report to their designated service stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with the official service year commencing on Monday, November 3, 2025.
