Apuri Golden Age Foundation in Collaboration with The Team of Hope-Ghana to Host Annual Donation and Health Screening for the Elderly in Fumbisi

The Apuri Golden Age Foundation, in collaboration with The Team of Hope – Ghana, is set to host its Annual Donation and Health Screening event aimed at supporting elderly residents within Fumbisi and surrounding communities. The initiative forms part of activities marking the International Day for the Aged, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to elderly care and community well-being.

The event is scheduled for:

  • Date: 21st November, 2025
  • Time: 10:30am – 3:00pm
  • Venue: Fumbisi Market Square

Comprehensive Health Screening for the Elderly

Participants will benefit from free medical screening services, including tests for:

  • Diabetes
  • Glaucoma
  • Cataract
  • Hypertension

Additionally, medical professionals will deliver health talks to educate attendees on prevention, early detection and management of age-related health conditions.

Donation Activities to Support the Aged

The programme will also include the presentation of clothing and other essentials to elderly beneficiaries. Community members and benevolent individuals are invited to support the initiative through both cash and in-kind donations.
