Dr. Clement Apaak Commissions Four Classroom Blocks Across Builsa South Constituency

In a significant boost to educational infrastructure, the Member of Parliament for Builsa South, who also double as the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, has commissioned four classroom blocks across four communities in his constituency.The initiative reflects his continued commitment to improving access to quality education in his constituency.

The Commissioned Projects by Communities are ; Wiesi -3- unit classroom block funded by GETFund Dogniga –3-unit classroom block funded by GETFund , Uwasa Teudema – 3-unit classroom block funded by GETFund Fumbisi Suik – 2-unit classroom block personally financed by the MP.

The commissioning ceremonies were held separately in each community to honor their unique contributions and needs. Speaking on behalf of the Dr. Apaak at the events, the Constituency Chairman, Cerza Akinkang emphasized the MP’s personal connection to education, noting that his own academic journey fuels his passion for expanding educational opportunities.“Dr. Apaak understands the power of education because he’s lived it. His love for this constituency and belief in its children’s potential inspired these projects,” Akinkang stated.

The newly built facilities were officially handed over to the District Education Director for Builsa South, Mr. Richard A. Akum-Nyemi who expressed deep appreciation for the MP’s support and encouraged Parents to enroll their children aged four and above as schools reopen on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and to act as custodians of the new infrastructure.

Each of the four beneficiary communities expressed heartfelt gratitude, pledging to maintain the facilities and calling for continued development efforts in the district.

Funding Breakdown: While three of the classroom blocks, Wiesi, Dogniga, and Uwasa Teudema were sponsored by GETFund which were facilitated and brought to the communities through the MP’s advocacy. The fourth, at Fumbisi Suik, was fully financed from Dr. Apaak’s personal resources, underscoring his dedication beyond official channels.
