Hon. John Dumelo, Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West, has publicly expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Ghana’s First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, for her impactful contribution to healthcare in his constituency.
In a statement shared earlier today, Dumelo praised Mrs. Mahama, who also serves as the Founder and President of the Lordina Foundation, for her generous donation of medical equipment aimed at improving services in under-resourced health facilities. The donated items were handed over to the Mempasem Clinic in East Legon, a vital healthcare center serving the local community.
“Today I celebrate the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Lordina Mahama,” Dumelo stated. “My heartfelt gratitude to the Founder and President of the Lordina Foundation for the generous donation of medical equipment which will help enhance healthcare services in under-resourced facilities within my beloved Ayawaso West. God bless you so much, Her Excellency.”
The donation is part of the Lordina Foundation’s ongoing mission to strengthen healthcare delivery across Ghana, particularly in underserved areas. The gesture has been widely applauded by residents and healthcare workers in Ayawaso West, who say the equipment will significantly improve patient care and operational efficiency at the clinic.
This move also reinforces the growing collaboration between government officials and philanthropic organizations in addressing critical gaps in Ghana’s health sector.
