President John Dramani Mahama will host his first Presidential Media Encounter of his second term on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at The Presidency. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.
A statement signed by Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, said the media engagement will provide a platform for President Mahama to interact with Ghanaians through the press on key national issues, policies, and projects under his Resetting Ghana Agenda.
According to the statement, the encounter will also allow accredited journalists to directly pose questions to the President on a wide range of topics affecting the nation.
Since his swearing-in on January 7, 2025, President Mahama has introduced several initiatives, including the No Fees Stress Policy and the 24-Hour Economy Initiative, aimed at driving economic growth and social development.
He is also expected to face critical questions on recent developments, including the removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonorr from office.
The Presidency emphasized that participation will be strictly by accreditation.
