The Government of Ghana has officially opened the nationwide recruitment for all internal security agencies today, Monday, November 17, 2025, at 12 noon, through the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP).
The portal, which centralises all security sector applications, will remain open until Friday, 19th December 2025, giving applicants a full month to submit their forms.
The recruitment exercise covers four major state security agencies:
- Ghana Police Service
- Ghana Immigration Service (GIS)
- Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS)
- Ghana Prisons Service
How to Apply: Voucher Purchase and Portal Access
According to the public notice, prospective applicants must first purchase an application voucher through two approved channels only:
✔ USSD code: *713*03# (all mobile networks)
✔ Any GCB Bank branch nationwide
Applicants are strongly advised to indicate clearly which agency’s voucher they are purchasing, as each voucher is tied to a specific security institution.
This requirement is meant to prevent misdirected applications and ensure that each applicant is processed through the correct agency from the onset.
C-SERP Introduced for Transparency and Efficiency
The Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal was introduced to modernise and streamline recruitment processes within Ghana’s security sector.
The system is designed to:
- eliminate human interference
- ensure fairness in shortlisting
- reduce corruption and bribery
- make recruitment accessible nationwide
Authorities insist that the 2025 recruitment exercise will be transparent, merit-based and strictly digital.
Government Issues Strong Warning Against Recruitment Fraudsters
The notice also included a firm warning to the public regarding scammers who typically exploit job seekers during recruitment periods.
“There are no middlemen in the recruitment selection process. Be vigilant and do not fall prey to any scheme purporting to offer admission slots at a FEE. The C-SERP process is free, fair and open to all qualified Ghanaians.”
The government has noted persistent concerns about fraudsters who demand money in exchange for recruitment guarantees, promising fake protocol placements into state institutions.
False Information Will Lead to Disqualification and Prosecution
Officials cautioned that submitting forged documents or false information will result in automatic disqualification and may lead to prosecution.
Applicants are urged to:
- read all instructions carefully
- confirm they meet the eligibility criteria
- ensure accuracy in all submitted documents
Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted for the next phase of the recruitment and screening exercise.
