Ghana to Launch National Youth Tracker Platform and YouthXplore App to Empower Young People

The Ministry of Youth Employment and Development, under the leadership of Hon. George O. Addo, has announced the imminent launch of two groundbreaking digital platforms: the National Youth Tracker Platform and the YouthXplore Mobile App. This transformative initiative, set to debut in the coming week, marks a significant step toward unifying Ghana’s youth ecosystem and unlocking data-driven opportunities for young people across the nation.

The National Youth Tracker Platform is designed to centralize youth-related data, enabling policymakers, development partners, and stakeholders to make informed decisions that directly impact the lives of Ghanaian youth. Complementing this is the YouthXplore App, a mobile-first solution that will serve as a gateway for young people to access employment opportunities, skills development programs, mentorship, and entrepreneurial resources.

This is more than just a digital rollout—it’s a movement to empower our youth with the tools they need to thrive in a modern economy,” said Hon. George O. Addo via his official X account. “With the YouthXplore App and the Youth Tracker Platform, we are building a connected, inclusive, and data-smart future for Ghana’s next generation.”

The launch aligns with the government’s broader vision of leveraging technology to drive inclusive development and reduce youth unemployment. By integrating real-time data analytics and user-friendly mobile access, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between young Ghanaians and the opportunities they need to succeed.

As the countdown begins, anticipation is building among youth organizations, tech innovators, and civil society groups who see this as a pivotal moment in Ghana’s digital transformation journey.
