The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has scheduled a series of maintenance works across the Greater Accra, Tema, Ashanti, and Volta regions from Monday, August 4, to Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
These essential upgrades are designed to enhance the stability and reliability of the power supply for residents and businesses.
Greater Accra Region
On Monday, August 4, a planned power interruption will affect the following areas from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
- Madina Estate
- West Legon
- Haatso
- Legon Bypass
ECG emphasizes that these works are vital for improving service delivery and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
Tema Region
On Tuesday, August 5, customers in these communities will experience a power outage from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.:

Ashanti Region
The Ashanti Region will see a combination of scheduled and emergency maintenance on Tuesday, August 5, with various outage times:
- 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Kotwi, Nkoranza, Kokoben, Bekwame, Sabin Akrofrom, Buoho (part), Sasa, Akrowa, Abuakwa, Lawson Herbal, Abakomade, Mankranso, Kunsu, and Gyaekontabuo.
- 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Santase, Fankyenebra, Odeneho Kwadaso, OWASS, CAC University, Patase, Apire, Ampatia, Trede, Bebu, Ampabame No.1 & 2, Edwenase, Kwadaso, Ohwimase, Asuoyeboah, Tanoso, Takyiman, Denkyembuoso, Yabi, Kromoase, Agric Nzema, Akyeremade, Twedie, Foase, Antoakrom, Manso Nkwanta, Nweneso, Trabuom, Boko, Yawkrom, Chichibon, and Manso Adubia.
- Emergency works from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Aboaso, Kona, Dumanafo, Dwumakwai, Tano Dumasi, Mpobi, Ejuratia, Ntonso, Fawoade, Asonomaso, Mamponteng, and nearby communities.
Volta Region
The Volta Region has two separate maintenance exercises planned for Tuesday, August 5:
- ECG Maintenance: Works from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. will affect:
