The Attorney-General, Dr Dominic Ayine, has officially withdrawn all charges against Mildred Donkor, one of the accused persons in the ongoing trial involving the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu-Boahene.
The decision was contained in a notice filed at the High Court in Accra on October 16, by the Deputy Attorney-General, Justice Srem Sai.
According to the notice, “Mildred Donkor, the 3rd accused person, has been discharged from prosecution under Section 59 of the Criminal and Other Offences (Procedure) Act, 1960 (Act 30).”

Sources close to the case have revealed that Ms Donkor will now serve as a prosecution witness in the ongoing trial against Mr Adu-Boahene (1st Accused), Angela Adjei Boateng (2nd Accused), and Advantage Solutions Limited (4th Accused).
The high-profile case centers on alleged irregularities during Mr. Adu-Boahene’s tenure as head of the National Signals Bureau. While details of the charges remain before the court, the prosecution’s decision to discharge Ms Donkor signals a possible shift in strategy aimed at strengthening the case against the remaining accused persons.
The court proceedings are expected to continue in the coming weeks as the prosecution prepares to call its witnesses, including Ms Donkor, to testify.
