Builsa Feok Festival Travel and Tour 2025: Cultural Talent Showcase, Drumming, Dancing, and Music Awards Set for November 29

The Executive Board of the Builsa Feok Festival Travel and Tour Committee has officially announced an exciting lineup of cultural events for the upcoming Feok Festival 2025, scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025.

The festival, celebrated annually in the Builsa Traditional Area, promises to be a vibrant display of Builsa culture, heritage, and artistic talent. This year’s edition will feature a blend of traditional drumming, dancing, singing, and a contemporary music awards night, all aimed at promoting unity and preserving the rich cultural identity of Buluk.

According to the organizers, the 2025 celebration will spotlight various traditional activities, including:

  1. Drumming and Dancing Performances
  2. Ampe Competitions for women
  3. Pampumta Peeka (traditional games)
  4. Marriage Celebration Hymns (Nangbeeni)
  5. Farming Songs (Kpari Yiila)
  6. Funeral Dirges (Kunyiila Yika)
  7. Sunsuilima Suilimka
  8. Wamagsima
  9. Watogma
  10. Doteng Yiila Lenika
  11. Nanzuk Yiila Lenika

The day’s celebration will culminate in a Builsa Contemporary Music and Awards Night, where outstanding cultural performers and musicians will be honored for their contributions to preserving and modernizing Builsa traditions.
