The Management of the National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year, marking the beginning of another national service cycle for thousands of Ghanaian graduates.
In a press statement dated October 28, 2025, and signed by the Director-General, Dr. Ruth Sedoh, the Authority announced that a total of Eighty-Five Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty-Nine (85,159) personnel from accredited tertiary institutions across the country have been successfully deployed to both public and private user agencies to undertake their one-year mandatory national service.
According to the release, the figure excludes categories such as teachers, nurses, midwives, and other essential professionals, as well as individuals whose records had data mismatches. The NSA clarified that those with such issues will have their postings included in subsequent batches, indicating that the total number of personnel deployed is expected to increase in due course.
“This figure excludes personnel who had issues with data mismatch and have either had it resolved or pending review… their placement forms part of the yet-to-be-released batch,” the statement read.
The Authority also emphasized the technical and procedural steps involved in the posting process and called on the public to appreciate the meticulous nature of the exercise.
